Stripes

Originally I noticed the stripes of the railing, supporting the bench from falling backwards into the stairwell. Then I saw three young women sitting there, not together, all in stripes. Before I could blink, a fourth woman – she is the one standing- joined them.  And this was just a sampling of the day.
