How Do They Stay Up?

half mast pantsDo not have the answer to this question.  In case you are not clear on what this is:  the light material just below the dark shirt is underwear and at mid-thigh is the waistband of his trousers. And I guess the word waistband is no longer valid.  Tell me how this works! I had to exit the train before he did, so I never got to see him stand. If I had not had an audition, I would have ridden it out to watch him leave!

  1. I have wondered how that works myself! Having dinner with Dave Newcomer, his brother Jim ,Daves son Tristan, out by Yamhill at some college friends of Dave. He told me about your blog and while we were eating dinner it came up, so I thought I would say hi.

  2. when I was teaching, I kept a rope in my locker at the back of the classroom, and when someone came in sagging, I told them if they wouldn’t hike up, I would pull them up and use my rope as a belt to keep them from falling down. Only had one time when I actually had to use it. After that, my reputation spread like wildfire to the lower grades, and I really never needed the rope again.
