It’s difficult to be in different places while one’s life is taking place in all of them. It was a lovely summer of diverse travel plans with important-to-me-visits to people that mean much to me.
Coming back to the City, felt like coming home. But getting in the groove to report on what is going on here, well, that is harder to wrap my head around. Indeed, while I am away, life here goes on. Friends do auditions, win awards, have performances, go to dinner, make day trips and continue without me. As I step in and out it is difficult to bridge the gap. So jumping back into attending plays and going on auditions is what lies ahead for the next couple of months, with of course more interruptions that will wreck havoc in my daily life, but se la vie!
