Should anyone ask, this is the best. It is at the mezzanine level of the 86th and Lexington -uptown side- stairs. The sign in the window advertises watch repair, looking in you can see the barbers, but the three-seat shoe shine, most often manned by women, is the slickest, hottest shine in town. Trust me on this one.
