Fire

This little fire/flame is wondrously cozy when it is ice and snow outside. The most amazing aspect is the fuel on which burns. Bio-ethanol.

What are the benefits of Bioethanol?

Bio-ethanol has a number of advantages over conventional fuels. It comes from a renewable resource i.e. crops such as cereals, sugar beet and maize and not from a finite resource. Another benefit over fossil fuels is the greenhouse gas emissions. Through the use of bio-ethanol, emissions will be reduced as the fuel crops absorb the CO2 they emit through growing. By encouraging bio-ethanol’s use, rural economies would receive a boost from growing the necessary crops. Bio-ethanol is also biodegradable and far less toxic that fossil fuels. In the petite fireplace it produces heat without the need of a flue. Win-win.
