Embraced

This fire plug is entirely embraced by the tree next to which it was placed.  There is a small sign saying that the hydrant is not operative.  The dark [sorry] picture was an attempt to show how big the tree is.

Required

Twelve Years A Slave. Every person holding an American passport should be required to watch this movie and the painful history of this nation that it depicts.  No one escapes.

The Limit

Bottles here have to be recycled by me.  Take them to the parking lot of a supermarket, stand in line, always a line because of the two recycle machines, one is broken, and wait.  This was the last – wait-behind.

Kyra

Get thee behind me…..!  Someone introduced me to the gluten-free products of Kyra’s in Lake Oswego and I am having to resist temptation of a new sort.  I didn’t know this kind of baking was truly possible and donuts be damned, these sweets ‘take the cake’.  I will now have to dig extra deep to …

Success

The cast is terrific! and so opening night was a zinger.  much fun, good vibes and a full house with a champagne reception at intermission.  Needless to point out, the 2nd act was well received.

It Ain’t the Establishment

Or is it?  Popped into a non-starbucks coffee shop, and there is one either on every corner, or in the corner of every vacant lot for drive in.  This cast of characters is the norm.
